On behalf of Bouwgroep Dijkstra Draisma, The Coating Master BV provided the coating work for the WEC project in Lauwersoog. This project included the outdoor enclosures and quarantine areas for seals. Unique coating systems were used that were extensively tested for their resistance to salt water and their hygienic properties.
The systems applied not only meet the highest international standards, but are also fully compliant with Dutch laws and regulations. Coatings with a long track record, which have proven their quality and durability over many years, were chosen for this project. The welfare of the animals was paramount, so no concessions were made in terms of hygiene and safety.
