We are proud to have been awarded the renovation of the three whirlpools and the instruction pool at Sanadome Nijmegen. We were awarded the contract partly because we were able to renovate the whirlpools separately, leaving two available for visitors at all times. The instruction pool was also tackled in a separate phase so that the wellness offerings could remain in continuous use.
Our experience in the food industry came in handy here. Similar to skimming cheese basins in a cheese factory, we managed to separate the excess water without emptying the entire basin. This allowed the remaining pools to remain in operation, which was essential for Sanadome’s operational continuity.
In collaboration with Sandstra RVS, three custom-made stainless steel bulkhead systems were developed. Thanks to their expertise in custom projects – including the well-known swimming spa of another hotel chain – a technically and aesthetically high-quality result was achieved. With this upgrade, Sanadome has once again proven why it belongs to the absolute top of wellness hotels in the Netherlands.
