For the Benz Collector Sneek project – the largest private collection of unique Mercedes-Benz vehicles – we were given a clear assignment: to realize a showroom floor with maximum brilliance. After all, when you exhibit such magnificent cars, you want them to shine to perfection. Together with the client, we therefore chose a light gray high gloss finish.
After careful dust-free blasting and full vacuuming of the floor, we began leveling. Unevenness and damage were repaired with an epoxy repair compound. We then applied a thick primer coat, followed by a scraper coat that provides a smooth and even surface.
Then the casting coating could be distributed with squeegees. This coating naturally flows out evenly and provides a mirror-smooth result. The end result is a shiny, sleek floor that perfectly matches the look of this exclusive collection. Curious about more images?
